after reading an obituary for Jason Molina in March 2013 i was introduced to his music, in particular his Didn't It Rain album. the symbolism and ideas he illustrated really spoke to me.
i may have lifted the words Big City Moon from Jason, but it was very much in tribute.
Stan came up with the bass riff that glued the song together and allowed Sean to find the pounding drums that i feel represent the wheels of the transport trucks rumbling from the bumps in the road. industrial and haunting.
